Pinellas Opera League

Welcome to our website!

We love opera!  Since the Pinellas Opera League was formed as a not-for-profit 501 (C) 3 organization in 1991, our mission has been to promote the appreciation and performance of opera and musical theater in the Tampa Bay area.  In addition, the POL provides grants to assist aspiring singers to reach their professional goals.  

We invite anyone who is interested in supporting our mission to become a member and to join us at our LUNCHEON MEETINGS which are held from October through June on the first Wednesday of the month at the Clearwater Country Club (October, November, February, April, May, June) and at Mease Life in Dunedin (December, January and March).  Please see that month's newsletter on this site for the addresses.  Registration is required and may be made by phone 727-796-7260 or email rwignall@tampabay.rr.com.  Please see the monthly newsletter on this site for the registration due dates.  Luncheons at which singers and pianists from area opera companies perform are $35.00 for members, $40.00 for non-members, $30 for first-time attendees.
